Kung Fu Records is proud to announce that we will be releasing a 14 song collection of rare, out of print, and unreleased tracks from the early years of Tsunami Bomb. Set to release on LP, CD, and Digital in early 2016, the album will be titled, “TRUST NO ONE” and will pull songs from the previously out of print “B-Movie Queens” 7″, “Mayhem On The High Seas” 7″, and “The Invasion From Within” EP, as well as some hard to find and previously unreleased tracks from their pre-Kung Fu era. Previously these songs were only available to a select few, forcing people to download them at varying quality, so it’s very exciting to finally have them once more available!

The brand new EP “ZEROS” by DANGER FRIENDS is OUT NOW! Check out the album by the band that punknews.org says is, “… the perfect kind of punk band in that they give two shits about what punk is “supposed” to be or what it has become….The Screamers, Gary Numan, and The Normal would all be proud. Highly recommended.”
To sum up? They are AWESOME!

Written by Joe Escalante of The Vandals and illustrated by Dominic Davi of Tsunami Bomb, this tale from two bassists is the first release on the new Repent House Comics label and distributed by Kung Fu Records as their comic debut.
The story is based on the 7 episode Digital Entertainment Network series created by Joe back in 1998. It’s a 36 page adventure taking place in the mid-nineties where four very different punk kids must band together to save the only all ages venue in their boring hometown of Mullet, California! It’s the Archies meets Clerks meets Teen Titans Go and is a love letter to the punk scene (while also making fun of it of course)!
Only 200 copies were made of the red cover first printing.
PIck up a copy while we have the first printing in stock!
It seems it’s officially “Fear Of A Punk Planet” day at Kung Fu Records! Not only have we reissued the classic album by The Vandals on purple vinyl (out now! plug, plug!), but the limited run first edition “Red Cover” FEAR OF A PUNK PLANET comic books have arrived hot off the presses!

OUT NOW! The Vandals classic FEAR OF A PUNK PLANET reissued on purple vinyl and in stores now! This is the first album of the Josh Freese era recorded in 1990 while Joe was in law school. We were very excited to have an album produced by Bob Casale, aka Bob 2 of Devo. This is the dawn of the line-up that endures to this day, 25 years later.
The last 4 tracks are bonus material added to the “Anniversary Edition” in the year 2000 or so.
The art on the cover is quite significant. It was licensed from the great Austrian perfomance artist Rudolf Schwarzkogler. Check him out!

Kung Fu Records is proud to announce the signing of Danger Friends a second-wave synth-punk band from Simi Valley, CA, the suburban home of the infamous Rocketdyne nuclear disaster. The band formed in 2009 from the remains of various punk and synth-pop bands; taking influences from groups like DEVO, Murder City Devils, The Cure, and The Screamers to craft their own raw, synthesizer and bass driven punk rock, without the aid of guitar.
The raw nerd-rage of the vocals, the grungy distortion of the bass, and the tight-but-powerful drums make for a sort of controlled chaos that the synthesizers somehow fit into like a re-assembled car crash. In short, we think they are incredible, and we are pretty sure you will too! Their new EP “ZEROS” will be out on Kung Fu Records on Friday, September 11, 2015!
