Kung Fu Records is very excited to announce the upcoming digital release of the “FRANKIE ROAD” EP by BIFFERS on Tuesday, June 9th! Greenway Records will be releasing the 4 song “FRANKIE ROAD” EP on 7″ vinyl and will be starting pre-sale on Sunday, May 3rd!

Hailing from Livorno on the west coast of Tuscany, The Biffers first became active in 2009, creating a classic punk rock sound inspired by the California scene of the late 1980’s with influences from R&B and British indie rock. The Biffers have a unique ability to break down the punk genre and build it up again with an innocence and simplicity that’s lost on so many bands who call themselves “punk.” The Biffers’ first full length EP, “Whoa!,” was released digitally by Kung Fu Records in 2014. The “Frankie Road” EP is their first new release since touring Europe in support of the first LP. The “Frankie Road” EP will be available digitally from Kung Fu Records and physically on 7” vinyl from Greenway Records.

April 23, 2015 – Los Angeles, CA – Veteran alternative-punk rock band Versus The World has premiered a new song called “A Brooklyn Rooftop” today at AltPress.com. The track is featured on the band’s upcoming album, Homesick/Roadsick, that’s due out on June 23rd from Kung Fu Records. Fans can pre-order the record now at https://versustheworld.bandcamp.com/.
 
 
“I literally wrote the words to this song on a rooftop in Brooklyn,” says Versus The World singer/guitarist Donald Spence. “I was visiting some friends in New York and we were passing around bottles, and catching up on some years we’d missed out on. I think everyone has people in their lives that they love, but time or distance, life in general really, has taken you to different places. It’s just important to remember that the only currency relationships really run on is time spent. So it’s a song about catching up. One of my favorite nights ever.”
 
“A Brooklyn Rooftop” follows the band’s previously released debut track “The Santa Margarita,” which pays tribute to fallen friend Tony Sly (No Use For A Name) and features guest vocals byDave Hause.
 
Versus The World will be performing two album release shows in Southern California before heading to Europe for a tour with Strung Out in late June and July.

THE VANDALS – NEW TRACK: “I’M AN INDIVIDUAL”

Here’s a direct link to the new song from THE VANDALS called “I’m An Individual.” They recorded it for the Soundwave compilation CD, but you can’t get your hands on that, can you? ‪The song was originally recorded by Geelong Full Forward, Mark Jackson, who released this single under the name “JackO” in March 1985. It reached No.15 nationally, No.3 on Melbourne’s 3XY charts and No.33 on Sydney’s 2UE charts. Frankly….it’s amazing.
