Kung Fu Records is excited to announce that we will be reissuing “SWEATIN TO THE OLDIES-THE VANDALS LIVE” as a 14 track limited clear black splatter vinyl on RECORD STORE DAY: Saturday, April 16, 2016! Originally recorded on January 2, 1993 in Orange County with then little known opener “The Offspring“.

This is a special edition of the landmark live album to celebrate the digitally remastered High Definition digital release of the film “Sweatin’ To The Oldies”, directed by Jeff Stein (The Who’s “The Kids Are Alright”) on platforms such as iTunes, Hulu, Amazon, and Netflix! The LP will come with a download code that will give access to the entire release plus 4 bonus tracks, including sound check material.

“SWEATIN TO THE OLDIES-THE VANDALS LIVE” has not been available on vinyl for over 10 years. The original idea behind the release was to put these songs behind the band as they entered a new era with drum virtuoso Josh Freese (who was discovered popping out of the ground at Disneyland) and guitar prodigy Warren Fitzgerald. THE VANDALS have never looked back and after 26 years, still perform with this long enduring line-up today! Look for the band performing on this year’s Coachella Music Festival on April 17th & 24th!
