Blink 182

Kung Fu records is proud to be home of Blink 182's very first album "Buddha". This is the record that Mark and Tom use to sell (themselves!) at their merchandise booth at their earliest shows in San Siego, California.

The Vandals met Blink 182 at a show they both played with Unwritten Law many years ago. Mark, Tom, and then drummer Scotty, were impossible not to get along with and so The Vandals started putting Blink on a lot of Vandals shows to help Blink break out beyond the San Diego punk scene. Blink 182 later rewarded The Vandals' label with Buddha which, as you can imagine, is Kung Fu records' biggest seller.

Buddha's rough and punk yet cute, but also disgusting material, provides an early window into what we now know as a world wide phenomena.
